Besqab Increases Ownership and Becomes Majority Owner of Wallin
Besqab AB (publ) (“Besqab”) has been a co-owner of Byggnadsfirman Erik Wallin AB (“Wallin”) since 2021 and is now increasing its ownership to 60 percent. Wallin will continue to operate as a separate brand with its own organization. The Wallin family, through its company, will remain the owner of the remaining shares.

Besqab has held a 50 percent stake in Wallin since 2021, with the remaining shares owned by the Wallin family through Byggnadsfirman Erik Wallin Invest. An agreement has now been reached under which Besqab acquires an additional 10 percent of the shares in Wallin at a valuation in line with that applied at the time of Besqab’s original 50 percent acquisition in 2021. As a result, Besqab will own 60 percent of the shares, and Wallin will be fully consolidated into Besqab’s group financial statements from the second quarter of 2026. Byggnadsfirman Erik Wallin Invest will remain the owner of the remaining 40 percent of the shares. Besqab will continue to exercise its influence through representation on Wallin’s Board of Directors.
Wallin is a family-owned construction and property company founded in 1927 and currently run by the third generation of the Wallin family. The company has a long track record of developing residential properties both on its own account and on behalf of external clients across the Stockholm region. Wallin will continue to operate as an independent company with its own brand, financing, and organization. Residential projects within its operations will continue to be marketed and sold under the Wallin brand.
