Aros Bostad starts production of three new residential projects in Stockholm and Uppsala

Aros Bostadsutveckling AB publ (”Aros Bostad”) starts the production of three new residential development projects, totalling 67 terraced houses in Bromma, Uppsala and Ekerö. The development projects are part of Aros Bostad’s strategy to develop terraced and detached houses as complement to rental and tenant owned apartments. All houses in the three projects will be built with wooden frames and constructed to be certified in line with the Nordic Swan label.  

Magnus Andersson, CEO Aros Bostad says:
”There is an undersupply of new houses in the Greater Stockholm area and Uppsala, and the fact that many development projects have been stopped due to the current market climate increases the housing shortage. We are starting these development projects in order to provide new functional and sustainable houses for sale when the market demand returns.”

Development of 20 terraced houses is started at Tyska Bottens väg in Bromma, close to Aros Bostad’s completed project Nockebyn. Design and build contract is signed with C4 Hus AB, with Derome as supplier.

The project Hildurs trädgårdar in Luthagen, Uppsala comprises of 25 terraced houses. Design and build contract is signed with Svensk Husproduktion AB. The project is a joint venture with Stams Fastigheter and another investor, where Aros Bostad’s part is above 50 percent.

The production of 22 new terraced houses is started at central Ekerö, corresponding to the third phase of Ekerövallen. Design and build contract is signed with Svensk Husproduktion AB.

All development projects will be environmentally certified in line with the Nordic Swan label, and are estimated for completion during 2025.
