Besqab signs design-build contract with TL Bygg for the construction of 164 new residential apartments in Sundbyberg

Besqab AB (publ) (“Besqab”) has signed an agreement with TL Bygg AB ("TL Bygg") for the construction of 164 apartments in the residential project Tegeltornen, which constitutes the last stage of Fabriksparken in central Sundbyberg. Today, a groundbreaking ceremony was carried out together with the contractor and Sundbyberg municipality.

A design-build contract has been signed with TL Bygg for the construction of four residential buildings with a total of 164 new apartments in the residential project Tegeltornen, corresponding to the last stage of the Fabriksparken in central Sundbyberg. The building permit has gained legal force and today a groundbreaking ceremony was conducted with representatives from the contractor TL Bygg and Sundbyberg municipality. The apartments are built in accordance with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. First handover to customers is expected to take place in the autumn 2026 and the entire residential area is expected to be completed by summer 2027.

Fabriksparken is a newly built urban environment in central Sundbyberg with a total of approximately 450 homes, restaurants, shops and offices. All buildings are constructed with brick facades to reflect the surrounding historic factory environment. Besqab has previously developed approximately 190 homes in the area, under the Aros Bostad brand.
