Besqab Divests Completed Rental Project in Uppsala
Besqab AB (publ) ('Besqab') has today signed an agreement regarding the sale of Syrénbersån, a completed rental housing project in Uppsala. The sale of the property Ultuna 16:4 is conducted in corporate form with a purchase price based on an underlying property value of SEK 294 million. The buyer is Bonnier Fastigheter, and the transfer is scheduled for February 1, 2026.

The property management business segment complement our project development operations, the scope of which varies depending on market conditions. In the current market, we see that we can create greater shareholder value by freeing up capital for investments in new residential development projects."
A sales agreement has been signed with Bonnier Fastigheter regarding a completed rental project comprising 137 rental apartments within the property Ultuna 16:4 in Uppsala. The sale is conducted in corporate form with a purchase price based on an underlying property value of SEK 294 million. The sale price exceeds the book value as of Q2 by approximately SEK 16 million. The transfer is expected to take place on February 1, 2026. The completed project has been reported under the business segment for management properties. Tango and Cirio acted as the seller's advisors in the process.
The Syrénbersån project constitutes the final part of Ultuna Trädgårdsstad, a new district in Uppsala entirely developed by Besqab. All forms of tenure are represented here, including villas, townhouses, and apartment buildings, combined with senior housing, schools, and preschools.
