Besqab is developing Stadshagen with 166 new homes
Besqab AB (publ) (“Besqab”) broke ground for the new housing project Kellhagen in Stadshagen in central Stockholm. The building contains 166 apartments. The project is being built in collaboration with TL Bygg and in accordance with the Nordic Ecolabel Svanen.
Besqab’s COO David Johansson broke ground together with Anders Österberg, chairman of the development committee in the city of Stockholm.

“We are proud to be part of the development of Stadshagen. These homes on Kellgrensgatan are a part of Greenhouse Stockholm, where we are working together with AB Electrolux to create a modern, vibrant and sustainable district. The apartments are well-planned, have stylish interiors and generous balconies or terraces. The homes have been well received by the market, and we expect to finish the project in 2028.”
Anders Österberg, Chairman of the Development Committee, City of Stockholm:
“We are on historic land that in the mid-19th century was considered one of Stockholm’s most desolate outskirts with pasture land and cemeteries. However, since 1938, Stadshagen has been its own district, and we have had incredible development here since then. Today’s groundbreaking shows that the development is continuing to become a attractive district where people want to live, work and visit.”
